SJK (T) Ladang Juru successfully organized its Pongal celebration in collaboration with Alam Aliran Kualiti (M) Sdn. Bhd. In support of the celebration, our CEO, Dato’ Balan Agambram, generously sponsored clay bricks and broken pallets on behalf of Alam Aliran Kualiti (M) Sdn. Bhd. The use of these materials helped emphasise the importance of reuse and environmental responsibility. The AAK CSR Team also contributed 10 complete Pongal sets for the students to prepare the traditional Pongal dish. Beyond the celebration, the AAK team shared valuable knowledge with the students about recycling, environmental sustainability, and career opportunities within the recycling industry. The team also introduced the company’s dewatering treatment and clay-brick manufacturing processes through educational videos and a hands-on laboratory demonstration showing how clean water can be obtained from dirty water. The programme successfully combined cultural appreciation, environmental education, and community engagement, creating a meaningful and memorable learning experience for the students.
